The LEGO® Technic™ Koenigsegg Sadair's Spear offers a different way to experience the engineering behind one of Koenigsegg's most focused megacars.
Developed in collaboration with the LEGO Technic team, this 1:8 scale model recreates many of the mechanical systems that define the Koenigsegg Sadair's Spear. As the build progresses, individual components come together to reveal how packaging, function and precision work as a complete system.
The model features a detailed twin-turbocharged V8 engine, a working 9-speed transmission, steering and the distinctive Triplex suspension. One of its defining functions is Ghost Mode. Lift the rear clam and the doors, front hood and mirrors move together in a single coordinated motion, reflecting one of the signature engineering solutions found on the full-scale car. Each mechanism can also be operated individually, allowing a closer look at the engineering beneath the bodywork.
Building the LEGO Koenigsegg model is as much about understanding design intent as completing the finished piece. Every stage offers insight into the decisions behind the car, demonstrating how seemingly independent systems are developed to work together with purpose.
